July Wrap Up: Bingeing Fantastical Murder Mysteries and Delightful Historical Fiction
I read ten books in the month of July, which included three volumes of the historical fiction series that has taken bookstagram by storm; the Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion, which was truly a highlight of the month. In addition to bingeing them, I also read the entire Shadow of the Leviathan series by Robert Jackson Bennett, a Sherlock-and-Watson-esque murder mystery in a high fantasy, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
